You cannot remove WMP11 after it is installed. If there is a simple way to remove the WMP 11 update can someone point me in the right direction, either using the main installer or possibly using an nLite build. SP4 is a great project and I appreciate the work that has gone into it. I’ve tried a lot of things so far without any success. After doing a live update of SP4 on a fresh install of XP with WMP 10 I found that I was unable to uninstall WMP11 or reinstall WMP 10. I have a question that I’m sure has already been answered, but so far my searches have come up empty.īasically, I’m looking for a way to remove the WMP 11 update that’s a part of XP SP4.
